Chuma Nwokolo

Chuma Nwokolo (1963- ), a member of Nigeria’s Kwashiorkor Generation, is an author and attorney. His first Pacesetter novel was published in 1983. He was called to the Nigerian bar the following year. His dozen books include the novels, Diaries of a Dead African and The Extinction of Menai. Some of his short stories are collected in The Ghost of Sani Abacha & How to Spell Naija in 100 Short Stories. His poetry includes the anthologies, Memories of Stone and The Final Testament of a Minor God. He is the convener of the Bribecode good governance campaign (www.bribecode.org). His novel, Children of Indigo, is forthcoming in 2025.
